As you know HEALTHIO is an interactive arena of health innovation in May in Barcelona in order to “empower” all stakeholders in the health system, especially patients and healthcare providers.
In this Innovation Arena Patients / Citizens, Healthcare Providers, innovators or any other person interested in the health and welfare of people will find different HEALTHIO-itineraries, whereto discover and try the last advances in the sector.
These itineraries will allow participants to interact with innovations relevant to the itinerary’s topic, as well as receive advice from different patient groups, hear from research centers and clinicians about the work being done towards improving the health and quality of life of citizens daily.
And we must not forget the most important aspect of these itineraries is that Patients / Citizens, Healthcare Providers and Innovators will get to express their ideas and be heard.
In the last edition of HEALTHIO, 25 experiential itineraries where staged and more than 35 guides were present. These guides explained and accompanied the participants in the discovery of each of the itineraries under the umbrella of the major themes of Healthio: Health and Wellbeing, Personalized Medicine, Chronic Diseases and “Aging”.
The planning of HEALTHIO 2018 is already underway, and naturally, thematic itineraries will be present again.
